"Requests" was a project conducted on the social music network Last.FM. A message was sent out on the site that The Peach Tree would make any track for anyone who asked; based on what they wanted it to sound like, what lyrics to use, what it was about, etc.

Although the influx of requests was small Angus, (the man behind the music), created each tailored track with all his accumulated skill and lots of enthusiasm. Working with styles and instruments he wouldn't normally use he learned some interesting things and managed to satisfy all of the requirements for the songs.

At the very end of 2011 this project was deemed finished and/or dead, depending on which way you look at it, and ready to release as a complete entity.

There's some pretty zany stuff on this EP, but it can be pretty catchy, and most of all fun.

Track Name: Purplchu
Purplchu purplchu purplchu purplchu purplchu purplchu purplchu purple
purplchu purplchu purplchu purplchu purplchu purplchu Purpleater

What do you get when you cross an uber-cool cyber hangout wuts dat chick with a pokemon?

You get: A motherfuckin' lasershootin' flying purple eater raver!

Track Name: Ear Infection
i can't believe it, how could i have been such a fool
the weather was hot and the water was so cool
but was it really worth it, looking back on it all
getting an ear infection from a public swimming pool

my head feels like jelly and my brain hurts bad
i regret whatever good times at the pool i had
but the chicks looked so hot and i bought some new bathers
how could i resist those chlorinated waters

but like, if you go swimming, chlorine or no
there's bound to be people going to and fro
who haven't had their ears flushed in like half a decade
and that, my friend, is the ultimate price paid

bacteria spreads like some sort of disease (duh),
filling your eardrums with sinister ease
and soon they'll be gooing a yellowy sleaze
you've got an ear infection man, stay away from me please

the weather was hot and the water was cool
but it was unsanitary and you were a fool
to make this rhyme work dandelion radio rules
and you caught an ear infection at a public swimming pool

Track Name: The Teach Pre
I went to do my first live show
In a place called Ace Morning on Sydney Rd.
What did I see when I looked on the chalkboard?
Instead of “The Peach Tree” they’d written me backwards.
The Teach Pre, The Teach Pre… What the fuck does that mean?
How can I entertain with conditions like these?

Damn you Farmer Joe and your Ignorant Corpses,
I suspect you played a hand in these circumstances.
Pranksters ‘til die but a bloody good band,
This request goes to them in their bizarre music land.
Track Name: Leila The Music Junkie
Junkie. Addict. Music Junkie.

There's never enough.

There's never enough music.

I've got to hear your pleas, Leila
And give you all that you desire.
'Cause you're a music junkie,
And I'm a motherfuckin' rock star.

There's never enough.
There's never enough music.
Never enough music.
There's never enough music
For Leila.
